Oldroyd Cardinal Cornet
For each and every instrument, the Oldroyd Cardinal series combines the latest product developments with utter luxury, top-notch materials, painstaking attention to detail and the permanent quest for perfection. No two instruments are perfectly alike. Highly talented engravers ornament each cornet with elaborate hand engravings, creating unique instruments in the process.
The lead pipe, the valve slides and the bell branch are made of rose brass for a truly unique sonic experience. The bell made of nickel silver contributes to the cornet’s articulate and carrying projection without affecting its round and warm sound. The triggers on the first slide and the main tuning slide assist the player with a spot-on intonation.
The Symphony series is the epitome of unadulterated sound. GENEVA has developed this series for traditional British brass bands. The result of this unique design concept, which took sixteen years to perfect, is a flawless build of a high-quality instrument.
This cornet has a rose-brass bell and lead pipe that are designed to produce a great warm sound with just the right “ring” and projection when required. The triggers on the third and the main tuning slides assist the player with a spot-on intonation. The heavy valve bottoms, which are supplied with each Symphony cornet, add focus to the instrument’s core sound if required.
The Mentor series was added to the GENEVA lineup only a short while ago to provide even more sonic options. The instruments of this series are also intended for professional musicians.
This series has a more sober look, without any ornate fittings or engravings. This way, nothing can distract the player from the core sound and the technical accomplishments borrowed from the flagship series.
The Mentor cornet comes with a lead pipe and a bell made of brass, allowing the player to produce a variety of timbres in all registers. The triggers on the first and third slides assist the player with a spot-on intonation.
